Salman Khan is stepping into one of the most demanding phases of his career as his upcoming action drama Monster moves into its final and most intense shooting schedule. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the Pan-India project is now in its last leg, with the actor set to undergo a 50-day schedule focused entirely on high-stakes, close-quarter combat sequences.
For this crucial stretch, the production team has established its base at a studio in Mira Road. The makers are reportedly steering away from heavily stylised, effects-driven action in favour of a raw and grounded combat experience, placing Salman Khan at the heart of intense hand-to-hand fight sequences against his on-screen adversaries.
The film has been shot on a large scale ever since principal photography began in Mumbai in mid-April 2026. A six-week schedule was completed in Goregaon this August, which included expansive action set-pieces, crowd scenes, and an elaborate recreation of an Afghan village. This was followed by a dedicated 10-day combat training schedule in Mumbai during September, preparing the team for the physically intensive sequences now underway.
Salman Khan is currently managing this strenuous action schedule alongside his hosting commitments for Bigg Boss 20, with the makers aiming to wrap filming by November. Once shooting concludes, the project will move straight into post-production as the team works toward a theatrical release planned for Eid 2027.
Monster is produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Rahul Dev, Ronit Roy, and Seema Biswas alongside Salman Khan.
