Recently Big B or Amitabh Bachchan of Bollywood has tweeted a cryptic note not directly regarding the boycott trend but surely words give us the interference of it.  

Talking the upcoming movie in which we can witness him is Brahmastra where we will see him in the role of one of the Astra according to the trailer. Speaking about the Brahmastra it’s a fictional movie based on Indian Mythology. As a viewer or as a filmmaker so many people are waiting for a such movie for a long time in Hindi Cinema. But we have seen in recent times due to trends the big budget movies such as Shamshera, and Laal Singh Chadha have been down and not able to gather amount to even their budget also. So maybe these are the reason and these tweets.He writes,“Kuch baatein karne ka mann karta hai, par karein toh kaise karen, har baat ki toh aajkal baat ban jati hai.”

Talking about the trend is because in a recent interview Alia Bhat told, “if you don’t like me, don’t watch me”, which ignited netizens to once again trend #BoycottBollywood.  

In reply when in a recent interaction with media Alia Bhat is asked about it, she says”I believed the only way I could shut the conversation down is through my movies. So, don’t respond, don’t feel bad. Of course, I felt bad. But feeling bad is a small price to pay for the work that you are respected and loved for. I delivered a film like Gangubai. So, who’s having the last laugh? At least until I deliver my next flop? For now, I am laughing!”  

“I can’t keep defending myself verbally. And if you don’t like me, don’t watch me. I can’t help it. That’s something I can’t do [anything about]. People have something to say. Hopefully, I will prove to them with my movies that I am actually worth the space I occupy,” Alia Bhat added
