Akshay Kumar and Emran Hashmi starrer Selfiee have started with a mere collection despite the solo to release this week.
As soon as the box office collection is out of the movie Selfiee critics started to have words on it. Speaking about the movie is directed by director Raj Mehta it is a comedy-drama movie. Which is about the story between a common man and a film star. But as soon as the movie is released it gets a hatchback from the audience. Despite the solo movie being released this week. The movie is just able to collect around 2.5 crores.

Giving the details about the movie collection trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. Soon the tweet is out. Self-proclaimed critic KRK reacts to it and says, “Disaster opening of #SELFIEE is proof, Ki door to door Bhatakne Se, Shahar Shahar Jakar Bheekh Maangne Se Kisi Film Ko Opening Nahi Mil Sakti. The disaster opening of Selfiee is proof that wandering from door to door and begging at multiple cities does not ensure a film it’s opening”.
He further continues, “If entire Bollywood will promote, still a bad film won’t work. If your film is good then only it will work at the box office.”
Taking a jibe at movie collection Kangana Ranaut answers some of the claims about her. she says, “Karan Johar’s film didn’t even earn Rs 10 lakh, but the media is neither using his name nor his production’s name, I am being called the reason for the film getting flop even when I am not attached to it)”.
For unversed, Selfiee is an official Hindi remake of the Malayalam comedy-drama Driving Licence starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the leading roles. The 2019 original film, directed by Lal Jr., is streaming on Prime Video with Hindi subtitles.
