Arya Walvekar, of Indian origin living in Virginia, US, has illuminated the name of India. Arya has won the title of Miss India USA for the year 2022. This competition was held in New Jersey. This was the 40th anniversary of this competition. Arya, 18, has decorated the crown on her head. They are very eager for their further life.
Arya wants to become an actor
Miss India USA 2022 Arya Walvekar aspires to be an actress. Arya says it has been my childhood dream to see myself on screen and act on TV. Apart from this, Arya loves to explore new places, cook, and debate on every topic. The second place in this event was won by University of Virginia student Soumya Sharma and New Jersey’s Sanjana Chekuri won third place.
What is Miss India USA
It is the longest-running competition for the Indian title to be organized outside India. The competition was first prepared by New York-based Indian-American Neelam Saran under the banner of Worldwide Peasants. Akshi Jain became Mrs. India USA
Apart from Miss India USS, competitions for Mrs. India USA and Miss Teen India USA were also organized. Out of which Akshi Jain of Washington State became Mrs. India USA. On the other hand, Tanvi Grover from New York was chosen as Miss Teen India USA. 74 contestants from thirty states participated in these three competitions. The winners in all three categories will be given a chance to travel to Mumbai early next year.
