In an explosive audio confession, Amber Heard admitted that she pelted pans and vases at his then-husband, Johnny Depp.
In 2015, the actress opened up about the violent tantrums as the couple tried to talk through their marriage problems. Heard told Depp insignificantly “I am sorry that I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, I was not punching you. “
“I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.’
This is just one small episode of all the troublesome clashes between the couple that Amber’s phone recorded consensually.
There are several more tapes out there which proves allegations of domestic violence.
She wrote in December 2018 article, without mentioning Depp’s name,”I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our cultures wrath for women who speak out “
Depp claimed that due to these allegations people had considered him as an abuser which had damaged his reputation. He also lost his role as captain Jack sparrow.
Amber Heard dragged the case against Johnny Depp from last December to this year. Amber claimed that Depp was on high drugs and heavy drinking, days before the violence took place. Depp sued the UK tabloid, The Sun for calling him ‘wife beater’ in one article.
According to Daily Mail, the lawyers asked the judges to remove the star’s claim, claiming that the actor failed to disclose texts which proved that he was trying to buy drugs in Australia days before assaulting his wife. Depp reportedly sued the tabloid’s publisher, News Group Newspapers (NGN), and its executive editor, Dan Wootton, over the 2018 article. The article aimed about the violence towards his wife during their marriage.
Heard claimed that she tried to talk to him when he took out a bag of MDMA. She also said that when she tried to stop Depp from swallowing the pills with wine. Depp pushed, slapped her and shoved her to the ground.’
