Boney Kapoor’s new film “Mili” is going to release soon. He has recently opened up about the failure of Vikram Vedha.
Boney Kapoor is one of the well-known producers in the film Industry. He has given so many hit movies to Bollywood movies. Boney Kapoor, late wife Sridevi Kapoor has also worked in so many of them. He recently worked on his upcoming movie named “Mili”. His daughter’s name is “Janhvi Kapoor”. She is in the lead role in this film. Boney Kapoor is recently working on the promotion of this movie. This film is going to release on 4th November. This film is going to release with another film name “Phone Bhoot” by Katrina Kaif and Film named “Huma Qureshi’s Double XL “by Sonakshi Sinha.

During one of the interviews, Boney Kapoor said his view on the failure of the film name as “Vikram Vedha”. He said this during an interview with Times Of India,” One of the reasons why Hindi remakes of some of the South films aren’t working is because they are simply copy-pasted. Even the titles are kept the same as the original, as in the case of Vikram Vedha and Jersey.” Where he further added, “Also While remaking South films, one has to add the North Indian nativity to suit the Hindi audience. You have to make a film which will be accepted pan India.”
Whereas film name Judaai is the remake of the South Indian film name as “Shublagnam”. In this film Sridevi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar. Arjun Kapoor’s Tevar is adapted from the film name as Okkadu. Amitabh Bachchan’s film name as Pink is adapted from the “Nerkonda Peervai” by Ajith Kumar.
