The movie is about sex education for school children. The summary of the film can be two lead actors who are chemistry genii who were at home because they are unemployed. But one day they decided to change a few things in society to teach sex education to school children. During the whole story, there is a lot of comedy and lots of fun elements added by the filmmakers.

The movie is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, and the social comedy also stars Sumeet Vyas. Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia, Rajesh Tailang, Rakesh Bedi, and Prachee Shah Pandya are in pivotal roles. The film has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP movies.

Previously when the trailer was released netizens thought that movie is going to be similar to Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer Janhit Mein Jaari. Rakul clears the cloud. And says, “Action is normal, a love story is normal, the moment we make films on issues like sexual health, people will stop comparing. Whether it is Doctor G on gynecology, Chhatriwali on sexual education, or a Padman on menstruation, people won’t compare.”
Chhatriwali is going to be an attempt to start a year in an excellent manner for actress Rakul as last year’s five movies which she is part of could not able to perform well at the box office. As the movie is directly released on the OTT platform still people are giving positive responses to it.
