Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes has said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached her fixed deposit (FD) in the Rs 200 crore PMLA case involving millionaire thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. It is not the earnings of the crime, but the money for their hard work. Jacqueline feels that injustice is being done to her under the guise of Sukesh.
Truth of FD
Jacqueline, in her reply to PMLA officials, said that she had got the FD done before having a relationship with Sukesh, which is her hard earned money. Jacqueline further said in her reply that she has been depositing hard-earned money since she did not even know that there is also a Sukesh Chandrashekhar in this world.
ED said proceeds of crime
The ED has recently attached several FDs of Jacqueline, terming them as ‘income of crime’. Jacqueline was named as an accused in the chargesheet filed by the ED in the past. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, accused in the 200 crore money laundering case, has released her statement. ED has chosen actress Nora Fatehi as a witness in this case.
Jacqueline’s questions
Jacqueline said on Nora becoming a witness and being accused of her, saying that not only did I take gifts from Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Nora also took me, so why accused me and she was a witness. Jacqueline also said that I was duped under the influence of Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s gifts and ‘political power’. You cannot measure the loss I have caused in money.
