Former Solicitor General of the country and famous lawyer Harish Salve has climbed Bohol for the third time at the age of 68. Earlier in 2020, Harish Salve tied the knot for the second time. Meanwhile, senior lawyer Harish Salve is also a member of the newly formed One Nation One Election Committee of the Central Government.
Harish Salve recently got married with Trina in a grand manner. Trina is originally from Britain. Earlier, he was married to Meenakshi (first wife) and Caroline Broussard (2020). Salve and his ex-wife Meenakshi decided to separate after 38 years of blissful marriage. They got divorced in June 2020 and have two daughters Sakshi and Sania.

Harish Salve’s wedding was attended by close friends and family including Nita Ambani, Lalit Modi and Ujjwala Raut. Salve, a 68-year-old lawyer practicing in the Supreme Court, has handled several international cases including the high-profile Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Kulbhushan Jadhav was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on espionage charges. Salve took only Rs 1 in legal fees to fight the case on behalf of Jadhav. His decision was appreciated all over the country. Besides Tata Group, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries and ITC Group are some of his major clients. Anil Ambani’s Reliance Natural Resources Limited vs. Krishna Godavari Basin gas dispute cases were also handled by Harish Salve.

The case that made Harish Salve famous across the country was the anti-dumping case in the Supreme Court. In 2015, Harish Salve represented actor Salman Khan in a 2002 hit-and-run case. Salman Khan was sentenced to five years in this case. On 10 December 2015, following a Bombay High Court verdict, Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run and drunk-and-drive cases. Harish Salve served as the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel for the Courts of Wales and England. Nagpur by Salve, one of the most renowned advocates of the countryHe has done LLB from the university. He was appointed as a senior advocate in the Delhi High Court in 1992 before being appointed as the Solicitor General of India.
