Television actor Karan Wahi has addressed and dismissed growing speculation about his possible entry into Bigg Boss 20 as a wildcard contestant. The rumours had gained momentum after he shared an old story on social media showing him holding a wildcard UNO card, which many fans interpreted as a hint towards the reality show.
During a recent ‘Ask Me A Question’ session with his followers, Karan clarified that the post was unrelated to Bigg Boss. When a fan directly asked him about a wildcard entry into the show, he explained that he was simply talking about his favourite card in the game of UNO. He said, “I was talking about UNO and my favourite card in UNO.”
Reacting to the way his post was interpreted, Karan took a light-hearted jab at fans reading too much into it, saying, “Ek to tumlogon ko bhi chill nahi hai na. Har cheez ka tumko matlab kuch aur banana hota hai.” He then firmly put the matter to rest, stating, “I am not coming in Bigg Boss. I am done. Let’s just break this thought. Not coming in Bigg Boss, at least not this year.”
Why the Speculation Grew
The buzz around a potential Bigg Boss 20 entry for Karan had been building for a while due to several factors. Besides the UNO card post, the actor had also spoken about the Bigg Boss rumours during an appearance on Avinash Mishra’s vlog, which added to fan curiosity. The speculation was further fuelled when Karan’s ex-girlfriend, Uditi Singh, who is a contestant on the show, spoke about the possibility of his entry.
While speaking with fellow contestants inside the house, Uditi had said that even if Karan entered as a wildcard, he would just be “any other contestant” for her. She added, “Maine move on kab ka kar liya hai. It’s been so long I have moved on,” emphasising that his presence in the house would not affect her. She also mentioned that although the breakup was difficult for her initially, she has since moved past it and would be unaffected even if she saw him again.
