During the event, Kareena Kapoor opened up about several aspects of her life and also revealed some behind-the-scenes details of the film. When asked if this film is an attempt to keep herself relevant in the industry, Kareena expressed her frustration, saying, “I have done many intense roles before, including films like ‘Omkara.’ However, people only remember me for characters like ‘Poo’ and ‘Geet,’ and that really annoys me.”

She further explained, “My roles as ‘Poo’ and ‘Geet’ have stuck in people’s minds, so I decided it’s time to do something different.”

Kareena also shared some advice she received from her husband, Saif Ali Khan, before signing the film. She said, “When I was signing this film, Saif told me not to think I can just go to the set with makeup on and deliver dialogues. I need to leave my attitude behind because I am working with actors like Jaydeep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma who improvise on set. It’s not a walk in the park.”

“Jane Jaan,” starring Jaydeep Ahlawat, Kareena Kapoor, and Vijay Varma, is set to release on Netflix on September 21st.
