Rise And Fall Season 2 contestant Raj Grover’s mother, Rashmi, has publicly criticised fellow contestant Gautam Gulati’s attitude on the show. Taking to social media, she called the television actor a ‘sir dard’ (headache) and reminded him that he has not yet won the current season, urging him to concentrate on the game rather than resting on his past achievements.
In a video shared online, Rashmi questioned Gautam’s behaviour directly, asking, ‘Bhai, tum ruler ban ke aaye ho to rulers pe bhi rule karoge kya?’ She further advised him to set aside memories of the shows he had previously won and instead focus on the ongoing competition. ‘Abhi tum bhul jao ki tum kitne shows jeet ke aaye ho, abhi filhaal jaha baaki sare rulers hain tum wahi ho,’ she said.
Referring to Gautam’s reaction after being elevated from the basement to the penthouse, Rashmi used a well-known Hindi expression to describe his demeanour, saying, ‘Jaise bandar ke hanth mein adrak mil gayi ho.’ She also questioned his perceived arrogance, asking, ‘Itni akad bhaiya, faltu mein kyu akad rahe tum itna?’
Rashmi additionally praised co-contestant Niharika Tiwari, describing her progress in the game as a positive development, and credited her for helping resolve a misunderstanding between Raj Grover and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Raj’s father, Mahesh Grover, also weighed in, criticising Gautam for allegedly viewing himself as superior to the other contestants. He stressed that Gautam holds the same standing as everyone else in the house, since all participants are competing in the same show.
Rashmi reiterated that the competition was far from over for Gautam, stating, ‘Aapne ye show jeeta nahi hai abhi, aap jeetne ke liye aaye ho.’ She added that he had not yet achieved much in the current season. Towards the end of the video, Raj’s parents expressed confidence in their son, noting that he has gradually started understanding the game and is performing well.
Meanwhile, in the latest episode of Rise And Fall 2, Gautam Gulati was once again sent to the basement by Shehzad Poonawalla. The demotion left Gautam visibly frustrated, leading him to create a ruckus in the house. Upon his return to the basement, the workers reportedly refused to speak to him, referring to his situation as ‘karma’.
