Talking about the collection in Japan. RRR actively collected around 185 million Japanese Yen in the starting three weeks of its release which is around 10 crores in Indian Rupee surpassing the Amir Khans 3 Idiot in terms of collection in Japan. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala gives a brief about it in his recent tweet. He writes, “The Rage of #RRRMovie’s Run at Japan’s Box office is unstoppable. Since its release, the film is constantly receiving lots of appreciation. We are happy to share that our film got 1,22,727 footfalls by 3rd weekend (17 days).”
KGF Chapter 2 collected around 1200 crore at the world box office there is a fair chance that RRR will overcome its collection which has collected 1150 crore till now and like the craze is going about RRR in Asian countries it is most likely possible to cross that mark also.
The other movies in the list of highest-grossing Indian films in Japan include Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots (JPY 170 million), Sridevi’s English Vinglish (JPY 130 million), Akshay Kumar’s PadMan (JPY 90 million), Aamir’s Dangal (JPY 80 million), and Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning (JPY 75 million).
