Karan tells this anecdote related to ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and says- ‘We were shooting the last scene of the film. This was the meeting scene of Shahrukh and Jaya Bachchan. Kareena and Kajol also had to be emotional in this, who were seen laughing and joking throughout the film. Kareena came to me and started asking me if I also want to do an emotional scene, do I have to cry today? I said- yes, have to be a little emotional.
Karan further says- ‘In the scene, Shahrukh-Jaya Bachchan starts crying after meeting each other after years and seeing this, Hrithik Roshan also becomes emotional. As soon as he turns, Kareena has to support him. He has to put his hand on Hrithik’s shoulder. But, as soon as the shoot started, Kareena started crying hysterically. I was surprised to see Kareena and Hrithik was also very upset. But, she was in her character. She was crying continuously.
Seeing Kareena’s over acting, I shouted- ‘Bebo kya hua tumko.’ So he replied- ‘You only said that you have to be emotional’, I laughed hearing this. I said, yes but it was not to be done like this.
