This time there has been a ruckus regarding the poster of the film and a police complaint has been lodged against the makers of Adipurush. A complaint has been lodged against the producer, artist and director of the film at the Sakinaka police station, accusing them of hurting Hindu sentiments.
Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari has filed this complaint through Mumbai High Court lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. The complainant has described himself as a preacher of Sanatan Dharma. It is alleged that in the new poster, all the actors have been shown without wearing Janeu.

It has also been alleged in the complaint that there is no vermilion in the demand of mother Sita in the poster. Regarding these things, the complainant has said that Hindu sentiments have been hurt by them. The complainant has demanded registration of FIR under sections 295 (A), 298, 500, 34 of IPC in the matter.
In the complaint filed, it has been said that the film Adipurush is the biography of Maryada Purushottam Shriram, which has been made on the basis of Ramcharitmanas. This holy book has great importance in Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma and it is being followed since many ages.

It has been claimed that all the characters in the poster have been shown without Janeu. It has been said that Janeu holds special importance in Hindu Sanatan Dharma, which is being followed by people on the basis of Puranas for many decades.
