The popular television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is in controversy these days. Jennifer Mistry, who has been working on the show for 15 years, has accused producer Asit Modi of trying to sexually harass her. Jennifer has left the show by making several allegations against Asit. This is not the first time that a person associated with the show has come into controversy.
Earlier in 2018, Munmun Dutta had made several revelations under the Me Too movement, in which she told that she too has been a victim of sexual harassment on many occasions in her life. Please tell that Munmun plays the role of Babita Iyer in the show. While disclosing about Meetu, Munmun had told many shocking things. She had told that when she used to study in school in her childhood, her tuition teacher once put her hand in her underpants. Not only this, Munmun had also told that her school teacher used to misbehave with female students and used to pull their bra straps and also hit their breasts.
Munmun had said that she used to tie rakhi to this teacher and she was very shocked by his behaviour. Please tell that Munmun had also praised the Meetu moment and said that because of this many women could muster the courage to speak about the sexual harassment that happened to them. Munmun had written during this time, before writing about this my eyes I am in tears as I am reminded of the time when I was a small child and was afraid of my uncle living in the neighborhood because he used to stare at me with his eyes and used to say that he would grab me and threaten me if he got a chance. Do not say anything about this to anyone.
