Bollywood actress Yami Gautam needs no introduction. She has made a different identity in B-town without any godfather. However, working in Bollywood was not easy for her. The actress had to do many such films, in which she did not want to work.
In a recent interview, Yami Gautam has revealed about Bollywood, how she was treated when she was new in the film industry, and how she has made her place. Yami said in a conversation with ‘Bollywood Hungama’ that, even after her first successful film, she had to do films with which she was not happy.
The actress said, “I worked in many films and I remember that I was not happy. Because when you work against your will and that too because you have to keep working. It was because I was told, ‘You will be out of sight, out of mind’, then I had no option. The time 6-7 years ago was not easy for me.”
Yami Gautam also told that she was given films with only a few selected names (actors) and she used to get such films, which had more songs. The actress said, “I was asked to work with only a few names. I did and it didn’t work for me.”
Yami Gautam started her career in Bollywood with ‘Vicky Donor’ and after that, she appeared in ‘Sanam Re’, ‘Bala’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Dasvi’, ‘Kaabil’, and ‘Kaabil’. Have worked in films like ‘Bhoot Police’.
