Bigg Boss 20, hosted by Salman Khan, saw a fresh twist this week as contestant Rhiti Tiwari was eliminated from the show in a mid-week eviction. The development followed a captaincy task in which three contenders were asked to name the nominated housemate they felt had contributed the least to the season.
During the latest episode, Bigg Boss shortlisted three contestants for the captaincy task and called them into the confession room one by one. Each was asked to identify the nominated contestant they believed had added the least value to the show. Mahhi Vij first named Mary Kom, while Yung DSA pointed to Aman Gandhi. Uditi Singh, however, chose Rhiti Tiwari, saying she found it difficult to understand Rhiti’s personality. Mahhi and Yung eventually came around to Uditi’s view, and the consensus led to Rhiti’s elimination. The episode also touched upon Rhiti’s noticeable shift in behaviour towards fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer in recent days.
Salman Khan’s Criticism During Weekend Ka Vaar
Rhiti had already been in the spotlight after a diss battle task during which she said she hated Qazi and used abusive language against him, while also claiming that he had physically charged at her. Salman Khan addressed the episode during Weekend Ka Vaar, criticising Rhiti for her language and conduct towards both Qazi and Uditi. He commended Qazi and Uditi for staying composed through the confrontation and called Rhiti’s diss battle performance one of the worst he had witnessed, noting that she carried herself confidently despite the housemates not responding favourably to her.
Salman also referenced Rhiti’s background as the daughter of actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, telling her that audiences could perceive her presence on the show as a result of nepotism. He urged her to build her own identity on the show and take ownership of her conduct inside the house, adding that her journey should be evaluated on her own merit rather than her father’s reputation.
Uncertainty Over Rhiti’s Eviction Status
Although the episode suggested that Rhiti had been eliminated, online speculation has suggested she may instead have been shifted to a secret room rather than being permanently evicted. Should this twist be confirmed, there remains a possibility that she could re-enter the house at a later point in the season. Her actual status, however, will only become clear through the show’s upcoming episodes and an official announcement from the makers.
Rhiti Tiwari’s reported exit adds another dramatic turn to Bigg Boss 20, coming soon after her confrontations with Qazi Touqeer and Uditi Singh, as well as Salman Khan’s pointed criticism during the weekend episode.
