Senior DMK leader and Rajya Sabha member R.S. Bharathi has launched a sharp political attack against Tamil Nadu actor-turned-politician Vijay, raising serious questions about his recent public appearance involving a bullock cart ride alongside a person allegedly being sought by the police.
Bharathi did not hold back in his criticism, alleging that the individual who drove the bullock cart during Vijay’s event has a criminal background and is reportedly wanted by law enforcement authorities. The DMK leader questioned why a public figure of Vijay’s stature would associate himself with someone allegedly linked to criminal activities, calling it a matter of serious concern for voters and the general public.
Adding fuel to the controversy, Bharathi also raised pointed questions about palm oil money and its alleged connection to Vijay’s political party. He demanded transparency regarding where the funds derived from palm oil dealings have been channeled, asking directly which party fund benefited from the transaction.
