Bigg Boss 20 Eviction: Rhiti Tiwari Speaks on Qazi Touqeer Row, Manoj Tiwari’s Fame and Her Journey

After her eviction from Bigg Boss 20, Rhiti Tiwari opened up about her controversy with Qazi Touqeer, her bond with father Manoj Tiwari, and the lessons she learnt on the show.

Rhiti Tiwari has walked out of the Bigg Boss 20 house following her eviction, and she wasted no time addressing the many talking points of her journey in a candid media interaction. The singer spoke about her much-discussed clash with Qazi Touqeer, the attention she receives due to her father, veteran actor and politician Manoj Tiwari, and the mistakes she made while living inside the house. She admitted that she erred on several occasions but said she owned up to her actions and tried to change for the better, calling her Bigg Boss stint a life-altering experience.

Describing how she felt after exiting the house, Rhiti said she was doing well and was grateful for the chance to reflect on everything she had seen and experienced inside. When asked about claims made during the show regarding her finances — including her statement that her father gives her only Rs 25,000 as pocket money and her former father figure Ekam Bawa’s counter-claim about her owning luxury apartments in Mumbai — Rhiti chose to stay measured. She said legal action had already been initiated in the matter and that she would let the legal process take its course, adding that her agency would share further updates when appropriate.

On the subject of her controversy with Qazi Touqeer, which dominated headlines during the season, Rhiti said the episode had deeply impacted her. She admitted to becoming emotionally overwhelmed inside the house, experiencing a wide range of feelings, and said she had sincerely apologised to Qazi for her conduct. She credited host Salman Khan for helping her understand where she had gone wrong and revealed that Qazi had forgiven her, even gifting her a ring as she left the house, which she took as a sign of reconciliation. She further acknowledged that her behaviour was a major mistake but maintained that everyone deserves a second chance, stressing that recognising and learning from one’s errors matters more than the mistake itself.

Rhiti also addressed questions about her nomination, saying she never expected co-contestant Amrapali Dubey to repeatedly save her since everyone needed to play their own game. She reflected on being nominated by a fellow contestant she considered close, saying it was painful but something she accepted as part of the game’s unpredictability. On her friendship with Kanika Mann, she said it remained largely unaffected despite initial differences. Regarding trolling of her old viral song, Rhiti said she viewed the attention positively, considering mimicry a form of appreciation. She mentioned not having spoken much to her father since her eviction but revealed that both her parents had expressed pride in her through messages. On being Manoj Tiwari’s daughter, she called it both an advantage and a responsibility, while also crediting her mother for shaping her upbringing. She explained that her family deliberately let her carve her own path rather than handing her success, which she said built her resilience. Rhiti named Mahhi, Uditi and Aman Gandhi as housemates whose personalities she found fake from the outside, and revealed she is now working on a new album titled ‘Rejected’, inspired by her experiences on the show.
