Rhiti Tiwari’s stint on Bigg Boss 20 came to an abrupt end following sharp criticism from host Salman Khan during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The daughter of actor-politician Manoj Tiwari had drawn flak for her conduct inside the house. Days after leaving the show, Rhiti has now addressed her parents’ reaction to her eviction and shared the message her father sent her.
Speaking to the media after her exit, Rhiti was asked how her parents reacted to her journey on the show. She admitted that her parents likely watched her stint with a sense of worry, given how often her emotional outbursts landed her in trouble. Reflecting on her time inside the house, she said, “My parents must definitely have been watching the show nervously, wondering what this girl was going to do next. I lacked a little understanding at the time. I let my emotions take over and ended up doing things I shouldn’t have. I didn’t use the right words, and my behaviour wasn’t good. In anger and aggression, I said and did many things that I would never want to do and will never repeat. There is no point in just saying this here; I will show you through my actions.”
Rhiti further revealed that she hasn’t had much conversation with her father since her return home, as he remains occupied with his own commitments. However, he did reach out to her after her eviction with a short but encouraging message. She shared, “As for after I came out, I haven’t spoken to my father much. He is also busy with things at the moment, but of course, he messaged me saying, ‘Whatever it is, beta, I am proud of you.'”
The Diss Battle That Led to Her Exit
Rhiti’s departure from the show followed a heated clash with fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer during a diss battle task. She admitted to hurling abuses at Qazi, stating that she hated him, and also accused him of charging at her during the confrontation. Salman Khan later took her to task on Weekend Ka Vaar, calling her performance the “worst diss ever” and questioning her behaviour towards both Qazi and fellow contestant Uditi.
How Housemates Sealed Rhiti’s Fate
Following the controversy, a surprise mid-week eviction was announced in the house. Contestants were asked to nominate the housemate they believed had contributed the least to the show. Uditi named Rhiti, and her choice was backed by Mahhi and Yung DSA. The combined votes against her ultimately brought Rhiti Tiwari’s Bigg Boss 20 journey to a close.
