Popular Punjabi singer-rapper Badshah has used the name of Lord Shiva in his latest track ‘Sanak’. After the controversy escalated, he apologized for this on social media. Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, apologized to the people on Instagram. People criticized him fiercely for using Bholenath’s name with obscene words.

Badshah wrote in a note shared on Instagram: It has come to my knowledge that my recently released song Sanak has hurt the sentiments of some people. I would never intentionally hurt anyone’s sentiments.
I passionately bring my artistic creations and musical compositions to you, without changing the lyrics of the songs . After the recent incident, I have changed some parts of my song. The old version will be replaced with the new version on all digital platforms, so that no one else gets hurt by it.

He said replacement will take some time on all platforms after which new version will be released I have hurt my heart. My fans have always been my biggest support, that’s why I always give them utmost respect and love them immensely. Lots of love to all of you.
