The upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20 promises high drama as host Salman Khan takes contestant Qazi Touqeer to task over a controversial remark he made to fellow housemate Kanika Mann. A newly released promo from the makers shows the Bollywood star reprimanding Qazi for continuously justifying his actions instead of offering a genuine apology.
In the clip, Salman directly addresses Qazi’s repeated attempts to defend his intentions during the house conflict. He is heard telling him that if someone found his intentions offensive, he should have stepped back immediately rather than persisting with his justification. Salman remarked that Qazi kept going on about it like a broken record, which only worsened the situation.
Turning his attention to Kanika, Salman asked whether Qazi had properly apologised for his remark. Kanika expressed her frustration, alleging that Qazi had become arrogant and had clearly stated he would not apologise. When Qazi tried to intervene, claiming he had attempted to apologise in a lighthearted manner, Salman firmly pushed back, stating that no one had witnessed him actually saying sorry. He pointed out that Qazi had instead said he would rather take a bullet than apologise. Salman further questioned the logic of apologising only in jest, asking if anyone has ever heard of someone saying sorry just as a joke in real life.
How the Controversy Began
The dispute stemmed from a roleplay task inside the Bigg Boss house, during which Kanika played the role of a professor. When asked which subject he would like to study, Qazi replied “Biology” and then added a comment calling her beautiful and suggesting they share a lollipop together. Kanika immediately objected, calling the remark cheap and inappropriate, and made it clear that such comments crossed her personal boundaries.
