The rise of OTT has changed the face of cinema forever. Nowadays only movies that provide adventure, fun, and thrill of a big screen pull audiences to the theatres like Top Gun: Maverick, Marvel and DC movies, and Jurassic Park films. This is also the reason behind bhool bhulaiyaa 2’s sudden success. It is a movie that you can go to with your friends and family to have a good laugh and enjoy the visuals of the haunted haveli. It seems that no one is going to the movies to be touched by deep emotions and swayed by logic.
Despite bad reviews, the movie has managed to garner 10 crores on its opening day and experts say that it will grow steadily through the weekend. There are only two new releases in the recent week one being Akshaya Kumar starrer Smart Prithviraj and to save us all from it we have Hollywood’s Jurassic World Dominion. Jurassic World dominion is roaring to 368 million dollars this Sunday, it played notably strong in China and has been doing very well in international markets specially the Asian region. Jurassic world dominion box office collection till Sunday is 23 crores it will only grow further in the coming weeks.
Mini-Review of the Film
Jurassic Park is an adventure, fun-filled movie with stunning CGI and visuals that will blow your mind. This movie is set in the neo-Jurassic age where dinosaurs live side by side with humans. There creatures are no longer kept in caged facilities for the entertainment of humans. Humans now must learn to live with these marvelous yet extremely dangerous creatures.
A belligerent Biosyn’s serum threatens to disrupt balance and cause a plague that will lead to major ecological harm. The big three of the Jurassic Park universe, come back to save this world again from the deadly serum. Dr. Ellie Sattler( Laura Dern), Dr. Alan Grant ( Sam Neil), and Dr. Lan Malcom (Jeff Goldblum) make audiences whistle and clap in excitement and awe. Nostalgia is what the directors of this movie try to tug at but this movie too like many of its predecessors could not compete with the original Jurassic Park. There is also a parallel story involving Owen Grady( Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing(Bryce Dallas Howard) which is half-cooked.
The action sequences are great and they are perfectly choreographed to induce adrenaline in your body. It almost feels like you are on the Bike with Chris Prat as he swirls and sways his way through thin yet artistic lanes of a European country( we never get to know which country) as dinosaurs chase him. He is the only man who can defeat them which makes it all the more exhilarating . The movie, however, lacks a beating heart. Watch Jurassic world dominion in 3D in your nearest theatres today.
