Munawar Faruqui is a winner and Payal Rohatgi is the first runner-up of Lock Upp season 1, under the host Kangana Ranaut.
Lock Upp’s show is one of the controversial shows on colors TV after Big Boss. Kangana Ranaut is the host of this show whereas Ekta Kapoor is the producer of this show. Recently Finale Episode of this has been telecasted. Munawar Faruqui is announced as the winner of this show. Whereas Payal Rohatgi is the first runner-up of this season.
Payal Rohatgi and Munawar are tough competitors of each other in this show. Throughout the season they have fought on so many points. Like Munawar, Faruqui has called Payal Rohatgi a mean person. Whereas Payal Rohatgi has said him a manipulator and a person who hid behind his friends in his time of need. As like there are so many points in this show which these contestants use to attack each other.

Munawar has got 18 Lakh votes for getting first place in this show. During receiving the award Munawar Faruqui cracked some jokes. He said, “Those who played Lock Upp like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, are out of the show and those who played it like Kasauti Zindagi Kii are the finalists now,”. Later he has also dig into Payal and said that she is the perfect choice for the role of Vampire in Daily soap.
Later Kangana Ranaut praised both the contestants. While Praising Payal Rohatgi, Kangana Ranaut said that Payal has always fought for the thing which she has felt is the right, and while doing so she has never thought about the outcome. At that time she also performed on a new sone of her upcoming film. Director of Dhaakad, Razneesh Ghai, and actor Divya Dutta has also joined her on the stage.
