Standup Comedian Munawar Faruqui reacts to the suicidal tendency which occurs in humans and briefly explained what means to him.
A standup comedian, freelance rap artist and Lockup fame Munawar Faruqui openly spoke about what people go through when they get suicidal tendencies. Speaking about Munawar he is mostly famous for his semi-dark comedy. Recently Munawar has won a winning title in Lock up in its opening season. After that, we have seen a huge spike in his fan following. In recent when he was asked about the suicidal tendency and was asked to keep his point he says, in his words”This body has been given by God. In Islam, many things are ‘haram’ (sin) because they harm your body, like tattoos, and cigarette. Ending that body’s existence is considered the biggest sin. And I feel that about my mother, why did she do this? Such a smart woman, why did she do this knowing it’s a sin? It is said that weak people do this, but last 3-4 years I realised that only very strong people can do this.”

After that, he continued his words by recalling the incident of Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and says, “When I heard about Sushant Singh Rajput, 2-3 din tak hath kaanp rahe the (my hands were shaking for 2-3 days). Even today when I hear news like that, or end up joking. About it myself, after a minute I just go back there. And I realize what it takes. When these thoughts started coming into my head. The first thing that stopped me was that God doesn’t allow it, and the second is you start seeing faces. When they hear this news what will be their first reaction? Ruk jaa, mat kar (stop, don’t do this).”
Talking about his upcoming projects as per the sources Rohit Shetty has approached him for his Khatro Ke Khiladi season 13 but Munawar denied the reason he wants some time to be alone for a few time now.
