Sanjay Dutt shared that he started taking drugs just to take the attention of women. But people started calling him “Charsi” and to get rid of this he has worked hard for himself.
A Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt has given a big fight to get rid of his habit of taking drugs. During one of the interviews, Sanjay Dutt recalled his tough time. He said that people have started calling him “Charsi (junkie)”. He is recently basking the success of the film KGF Chapter 2. The other actor in the film are Yash , Raveena Tandon , Prakash Raj , Malavika Avinash , John Kokken and Saran in this film .
This film is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale films. This film has been released in so many different languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and many more. This film follows the story of Rocky (Yash) which has released in 2018.

During an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Sanjay has recalled his experience of getting into the addiction to drugs with all the struggles that he has faced to get rid of this habit. During this, he has shared about this. He said, “I was very shy, especially with women, so I started it to look cool. You do it and you become a cooler guy with the ladies, you talk to them.”
He added more, “Ten years of my life I was in my room, or the bathroom, and not interested in shoots. But this is what life is, and that’s how everything changed. When I came back (from the rehab), people used to call me charsi. And I thought, galat hai yeh (this is wrong). People on the road are saying this. Kuch Karna padega (I have to do something about it). So I started working out. I wanted to break through that. And then from charsi, it became a guy with swag and ‘kya body hai’.”
