The period of trouble on Shilpa Shetty’s family is not taking its name to end. More recently, her husband has come out of jail, and now a warrant has been issued against her mother. Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty is accused of cheating, due to which her bailable warrant was issued. No statement has come out from the Shetty family in this matter yet.
Summons issued against Shilpa’s mother
A Mumbai court has issued a bailable warrant against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty for allegedly not repaying a loan of Rs 21 lakh. Metropolitan Magistrate (Andheri Court) RR Khan had earlier issued summons to Shilpa, her mother Sunanda, and sister Shamita in a cheating case.

The Shetty family had challenged the summons before the sessions court. On Monday, Sessions Judge AZ Khan stayed the magistrate’s order against Shilpa and Shamita but did not grant relief to their mother. The court had said that Shilpa’s late father Surendra Shetty and Sunanda were partners in her company and her daughters were also partners. No document was produced for this and it was not even told that they have any relation with the loan.

Let us know this matter in some detail. In fact, a businessman had lodged a complaint of fraud against the three at the Juhu police station. The businessman claimed that Shilpa’s late father Surendra Shetty had taken the loan in 2015. He was supposed to pay it in January 2017 but the family refused to pay the money. He filed a complaint against all three of them through the firm M/s Y&A Legal for cheating of 21 lakhs. The complainant had not filed any document in the court that Shilpa and Shamita are also partners in the firm and their intention is to cheat. Because of this, both got relief from the court.
Next hearing on March 25
During the hearing, the sessions court said, “There is no doubt that there are many factual and legal aspects in this which require judicial investigation. Therefore, the court stays the ongoing process against Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty. With this, the court said that the magistrate court can continue the proceedings against Sunanda. The next hearing in this matter will be held on March 25.
