Salman Khan slipped into his signature roast mode during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20, leaving contestant Kanika Mann speechless with a witty one-liner. The moment unfolded after guests Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana heaped praise on fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer during their appearance on the show.
During the segment, Sara Ali Khan revealed that her best friend is a huge admirer of Qazi and even requested him to perform the popular song Afghan Jalebi. As Qazi sang, Kanika Mann appeared visibly unimpressed and made faces, prompting Sara to ask why she did not seem happy about the praise being showered on him. Kanika responded by questioning why everyone was “hyping” Qazi so much.
The conversation took a comic turn when Ayushmann Khurrana told Kanika that one of his friends had a crush on her. Kanika’s mood instantly brightened, and she asked him to confirm the claim. That is when Salman Khan stepped in with his punchline, saying, “Even my fan is a fan of yours,” before adding that the fan at his own home, which was not even working properly, was a huge admirer of hers. The joke left Kanika in splits and amused the guests, with the clip quickly going viral on social media.
The roast came in the backdrop of Kanika’s visible reaction to Qazi receiving compliments, which became a major talking point of the episode. Several social media users accused her of appearing jealous or insecure while Sara and Ayushmann praised Qazi, with some also criticising her for making faces during the interaction with the other contestant.
Interestingly, the same episode saw Salman Khan address the larger equation between Qazi and Kanika. Earlier in the Weekend Ka Vaar, the host had reprimanded Qazi over his controversial “lollipop” remark directed at Kanika, stating that regardless of his intentions, he should have stopped once she expressed discomfort over the comment. While Salman’s “fan at home” joke emerged as the comic highlight of the episode, the ongoing rivalry between Qazi and Kanika continues to be one of the key storylines inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
