Bigg Boss 20 contestant Isha Rikhi has reacted strongly to Mahhi Vij’s comments that followed her emotional breakdown during a heated confrontation involving Qazi Touqeer inside the house. Isha addressed Mahhi’s remarks about her ‘trauma’ and the mention of her former husband, rapper Badshah, stating that the matter had been blown out of proportion unnecessarily.
According to Isha, Mahhi had formed her own opinion about the incident and spread it among other housemates instead of confronting her directly. “I just feel that it was Mahhi’s opinion, and she has set a narrative. Because if she had genuinely thought about it, she would have talked to me, not with other people, and that too behind my back,” Isha said. She further added that Mahhi had made the issue bigger than it needed to be, suggesting that no one else would have handled it in the same manner.
Isha also opened up about her difficulty in understanding Mahhi during their time together in the Bigg Boss house. She observed that Mahhi’s behaviour seemed to shift depending on the situation, which made it hard for her to build a connection. “I felt that she went in a very different direction because we never hated each other in the house. It’s just that she was playing a game with two personalities, and I wasn’t able to understand that,” she explained.
She also pointed out the difference between how contestants experience events inside the house and how viewers perceive them through edited episodes. “People were watching an hour-long episode, but we were watching everything 24/7. So, I wasn’t able to understand her. Because of that, I wasn’t able to connect with her,” Isha said. However, after watching the aired episodes post her exit, she admitted to viewing Mahhi in a new light, appreciating her strong and logical stance during arguments, even if her reactions were loud.
The Controversy
The row began after a heated clash between Qazi Touqeer and Yung DSA during a task. Isha, who attempted to intervene, later broke down emotionally, referring to being triggered by aggressive behaviour and her past experiences. Mahhi questioned Isha’s use of the word ‘trauma’, suggesting that viewers might wonder what Badshah had allegedly done to her, given how she reacted to loud confrontations. Mahhi also described the comment as potentially amounting to a “character assassination” of Badshah.
Isha and Badshah were married privately before their separation became public in 2026. During her stint on Bigg Boss 20, Isha had briefly touched upon aspects of her past relationship without making it a central theme of her journey on the show.
