Qazi Touqeer has become a major point of discussion inside the Bigg Boss 20 house after several co-contestants questioned his behaviour while he continues to struggle with health issues. Amid the rising tension, former Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui has stepped in to support Qazi, suggesting that certain housemates are deliberately targeting him because of the strong backing he is receiving from the audience.
Taking to social media, Munawar shared a story defending Qazi and accused other contestants of being aware of his growing popularity among viewers. He alleged that they were trying to band together against him. In his post, Munawar wrote, “Others are so jealous of love Qazi is getting from the audience. Its clear that they want to team up and pick something and go after him. They are so insecure they need to say ‘bahar meri audience’ ‘Bahar humare fans’ ‘hiphop community’ so many times so fans feels responsible.”
Munawar further claimed that some contestants were leaning heavily on their public image and fan following in an attempt to corner Qazi. He added, “Clear dikh raha hai, kuch log sirf PR ke ghode pe beth ke chand dekhna chahte hain…The Qazishow.”
Qazi’s Health Troubles Inside the House
Reports from inside the house indicate that Qazi has been running a fever and feeling drained of energy for the past several days. His team has clarified that he was examined by a doctor in the medical room and continues to take part in tasks whenever his condition allows. While speculation has swirled around the possibility of dengue and rumours of his exit from the show, his team has neither confirmed dengue nor validated claims that he has left the Bigg Boss house, and he remains an active contestant.
The health scare has also fuelled friction among the housemates. Earlier in the season, Qazi had staged a fake mental health and withdrawal crisis as a prank, which led some contestants to doubt the authenticity of his current illness and suspect he might be feigning it again. Adding to the tension, captain Uditi Singh had reportedly pressured Qazi to carry out his household duties even after he presented medical reports, prompting Bigg Boss to intervene and declare him unfit for the assigned tasks.
The ongoing situation has also strained Qazi’s personal equations within the house. Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi and Arishfa Khan were seen discussing him with other contestants such as Yung DSA, ScoutOP and Aasif Khan during his unwell phase. Qazi was reportedly particularly hurt by Arishfa’s changed attitude towards him, given that he had previously treated her like a daughter figure, and her decision to distance herself left him emotionally affected.
Meanwhile, former Bigg Boss contestant Gauahar Khan has also voiced her support for Qazi, claiming that the house seemed to be ganging up on him while he was sick and isolated. She pointed out Mahhi Vij as an exception to this behaviour and questioned the conduct of contestants who had previously shared a close bond with Qazi.
