A disturbing incident involving the harassment of two Class 10 students has surfaced from Jamui district in Bihar after a video of the episode went viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place after the students had attended a coaching class, and the footage has since triggered widespread concern about the safety of girls and young women in the region.
According to officials, the incident occurred in the border area between Jamui and Lakhisarai, falling within the jurisdiction of the Jamui Town police station. The viral video allegedly shows a group of individuals stopping a boy and a girl, both students, and subjecting the girl to molestation. In one disturbing moment captured on camera, a man is seen grabbing the girl by the neck and lifting her off the ground. When the boy attempted to intervene, he was reportedly attacked as well, while one of the assailants allegedly groped the girl during the scuffle.
Reports indicate that both students are enrolled at a private school in Jamui town. The two had reportedly taken a scooter ride together after attending coaching classes on a Saturday evening, travelling along the Jamui-Lakhisarai road when they were confronted by a group of people.
