Taapsee opens about working with SRK
Taapsee right now is busy with promotions. Along with that she is also gearing up for another movie. Mulk actress will be seen in a movie directed by Raju Hirani. Raju Hirani sir is known for giving creative and artistic film for the masses. The name of the movie is Dhunki, Taapsee will star in this movie alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
When asked about working with SRK and Raju sir this is what Taapsee had to say. “I am so happy and glad that it is this film I am doing with Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan. I will not shy away when the film releases thinking ‘Sirf hero ke liye kar li ya or because of Raju sir kar li’. Who wouldn’t want to be in an SRK film? I was lucky that I got this one which has such a pivotal part. It is more than whatever you have seen any female actor do in a Raju sir film,”

Later, when discussing Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee recounts her experience of working with the legendary actor. “Rishi Kapoor Ji was pleasant to be around while working. He jokingly asked me, “What kind of name is this, Taapsee?” when I first met him. The attractive actor continues, “Rishi Ji used to refer to me as a senior actor after learning that I have appeared in 10 South Indian films. We forged a strong relationship and enjoyed our time working together on the “Mulk” production. I once referred to him as a bully bag. As I listened to his comments, I used to feel proud. One of my biggest accomplishments will always be working with him and receiving praise.”
Taapsee goes to Eden Garden to promote Shabash Mithu
On July 15, Shabaash Mithu, a film based on the life of legendary cricketer Mithali Raj, will be released by Viacom18 Studios. The Shabaash Mithu crew is doing everything they can to promote the movie as its release date draws near. To promote their picture and begin their city’s marketing, Taapsee Pannu, Mithali Raj, and national award-winning director Srijit Mukherji traveled to Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
On this trip, Mithali Raj says “Eden Gardens is one of the warmest homes of cricket and it is my absolute pleasure to be here! Playing here has been an honor and it feels humbling, being here today for Shabaash Mithu.”
Taapsee Pannu adds, “It feels surreal kicking off our city trail from here. I have watched many matches here but never imagined that I would be standing here for a movie. It’s a different feeling, knowing and understanding the history and the importance of this space to the sport.”
Filmmaker and a true cricket lover, Srijit Mukherji is overjoyed as he adds. “I feel it’s only apt to start this innings from my home ground. It’s heartwarming and an honor.” The film will release on 15 th July.
